How venues get curated

Local editors visit each venue, in person, before it's added.

We score on conversation quality, light, noise, and the small things — whether the staff lets you stay an extra hour.

Venues are re-checked every six months. Stale spots get retired.

If a date there goes wrong, we hear about it. Venues with safety reports are removed immediately.
