Common questions.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — two taps. From iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → LoverSpot → Cancel. From Android: Play Store → Subscriptions → LoverSpot → Cancel. Your premium features stay active until the end of the current billing period.
Is there a free trial?
First month is 50% off if you upgrade within 7 days of signing up. After that, we don't offer free trials — we'd rather offer a clean, fair price than play funnel games.
What if I'm not sure?
Start free. The core matching, messaging, and date booking are free forever. Upgrade only when you want more reach, more speed, or more control. Most members never upgrade.
Can I change tiers?
Yes. Upgrade anywhere from Free → Plus → Gold → Premium and the prorated difference is charged. Downgrade takes effect at your next renewal.
Do you offer student or family pricing?
Student: 30% off Gold with a valid .edu (or equivalent) email. Family: 50% off the second seat for a partner sharing an address. Email [email protected] to enable either.
How do refunds work?
Refunds are handled directly by Apple App Store and Google Play according to their policies. We can't process refunds — but we'll help you escalate. Email [email protected] and we'll walk you through it.
Will my price ever go up?
Active subscribers are honored at the price at the time of signup. We may raise prices for new subscribers in the future, but we will never silently increase your existing rate. If we change it, we'll notify you in-app 60 days ahead and give you the choice.
Is my payment info secure?
We don't see your card details. All payments are handled by Apple In-App Purchase and Google Play Billing, which are PCI-compliant and tokenized end-to-end.
