The rules of the road.

Overview

These terms govern your use of LoverSpot. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to them. We've written them as plainly as we can — if anything's unclear, email [email protected].

Eligibility

To use LoverSpot, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract where you live
• Not have been previously banned from LoverSpot for violations
• Not be a registered sex offender (where this is verifiable)
• Be legally permitted to use a dating service in your country

If we discover you don't meet these requirements, we'll terminate your account. We reserve the right to verify any of the above at any time.

Your account

You're responsible for everything that happens on your account. Don't share your login credentials. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

You may have only one active account. If we detect duplicate accounts, we may suspend or terminate them. Creating a new account after being banned is itself a violation.

Your content

You own the content you post (photos, bio, prompts, messages). By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and process that content inside LoverSpot for the purpose of providing the service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.

Don't post content you don't have rights to. Don't post anything that violates someone else's privacy, intellectual property, or dignity.

Acceptable use

Beyond our community guidelines, you agree to not:

• Harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone
• Spam, solicit, or promote any commercial product or service inside LoverSpot
• Use bots, scrapers, or any automated tools
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to access non-public APIs
• Use LoverSpot for commercial sex work or to recruit for any commercial venture
• Upload viruses or malware
• Bypass any safety or technical limitation we've put in place

Violations result in account suspension or permanent ban depending on severity.

Subscriptions

Tiers and pricing

Premium tiers (Plus, Gold, Premium) are available at the pricing shown in the app. Pricing may vary by region and may change. Active subscriptions are honored at the original price until renewal.

Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Cancel anytime from your iOS or Android subscription settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current period.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple App Store and Google Play according to their policies. We can't process refunds directly. For app-store-related issues, contact Apple Support or Google Play Support.

Free features

Core features (matching, messaging, date booking) are free and will stay free. We won't pull them behind a paywall later.

Termination

You can terminate your account at any time from Settings → Privacy → Delete account.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or our community guidelines. We'll usually give you notice and a chance to respond — but for serious violations (safety, child safety, harassment), termination is immediate.

Liability

LoverSpot is provided "as is." We help you meet — we don't guarantee outcomes. We're not responsible for the actions of other users you meet through the service.

We make commercially reasonable efforts to keep the service safe, available, and bug-free, but we don't guarantee any of these. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the past 12 months (or USD 100, whichever is greater).

Disputes

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Morocco. Casablanca courts have exclusive jurisdiction.

EU consumer rights

If you're a consumer in the EU, you're also entitled to consumer protection laws in your country of residence — the above doesn't override those.

Class action waiver

Where permitted by law, you agree to resolve disputes individually, not as part of a class action.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we'll notify you in-app at least 30 days before the new version takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes. If you don't agree, you can stop using the service before the new terms take effect.
